What health guarantees do you offer for the puppies?
- Vaccinations & Deworming: Your puppy will receive the proper vaccinations and deworming treatments before going home.
- Vet Checks: Comprehensive vet checks and health care are provided. You will also receive a copy of the health records for your puppy.
Can you describe the adoption process?
The adoption process at Still Waters Farm is straightforward and customer-friendly:
- Inquire or Apply: Contact us to inquire about available puppies or submit an application.
- Place a Deposit: Secure your puppy by paying a deposit when reserving
- Puppies Pick-up: Puppies are ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks of age. You can pick up your puppy in Ashland, KY, meet at a nearby airport, or let us know how we can work out ground transport (at the expense of the buyer.)

How are the puppies socialized before going to their new homes?
Our family-run approach ensures each puppy is well-socialized. We provide love, attention, and hands-on care to prepare them for their new families. We use sound exposure, noise exposure, scent exposure, different textures, different environments, unfamiliar people (our friends) to help the puppies be prepared for their new lives with you. We loosely combine several curricula to help our puppies prepare to be the best companions!Â
Is the deposit Refundable?
No, we are not able to return a deposit. A deposit lets us know that a buyer is serious and it secures a home for a puppy. Once a deposit is paid, the puppy is no longer available and is not advertised. If a buyer backs out, this gives us less time to find a suitable home for the puppy as the cost of their care continues to rise. In some cases, the deposit might be transferrable to another or future litter.Â
Do you offer any support after adoption?
Yes! We are here to support you even after adoption. Whether you have questions or need advice, feel free to reach out to us at any time.We offer a counseling (FaceTime) session before or face to face during pickup and then we are willing to help you troubleshoot issues after you bring your puppy home. We want you and your puppy to thrive!Â
